Could Fewer Casinos Mean More Shows?

With four fewer casino entertainment venues in town — and the possibility of losing two more, if Trump Entertainment Resorts makes good on its threat to close the Taj Mahal in November — an assumption some folks have made is that less showrooms will mean fewer shows coming to Atlantic City.

Another Happy Tale

Bob Schoelkopf, founder and director of the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, should send the filmmakers of 'Dolphin Tale 2' a thank-you note. The sequel to the winning “based on true events” film 'Dolphin Tale,' about an injured dolphin and her prosthetic tail, is at its heart a tribute to the fine work done by all marine mammal stranding centers.

Local Girl Cierra Kaler-Jones is Crowned Miss New Jersey 2014 in Ocean City

Galloway Township resident Cierra Kaler-Jones was crowned Miss New Jersey on Saturday night, June 14, in Ocean City.
