Boardwalk Hall has announced a stellar 2012-2013 winter line-up with events featuring mega-superstars, undefeated heavyweights, and sport icons sure to provide patrons with top entertainment and the “best seats at the shore.”

Carrie Underwood
Fri., Nov. 9, 7:30pm

American country music singer and songwriter Carrie Underwood returns to Boardwalk Hall on November 9 as part of her “The Blown Away Tour.” Special guest Hunter Hayes will open the show, and the event is being sponsored and “hydrated” by vitaminwater, Olay, and promoted by AEG Live. Underwood, with two previous headlining tours (“Carnival Ride Tour” and 2010’s “Play On Tour”), has performed close to 250 shows in front of a combined total of 2.2 million fans, thereby solidifying her status as one of the top-ranked female country touring artist.

2012 ACM New Artist of the Year nominee and special guest Hunter Hayes will be opening the show with his self-titled debut album. Hayes, who is known for his multi-talents as a musician, producer, and performer, has enjoyed the thrills of touring, most recently selling out venues across the US and Canada on his "Most Wanted" headline tour.

Tickets for the event are $65, $55 and $45.

Broner vs. DeMarco Championship Boxing*
Sat., Nov. 17, 6pm

This event carries a lot of promise and punch as Adrien “The Problem” Broner steps up in weight to challenge Antonio DeMarco (pictured right) for the WBC Lightweight World Championship. Also, two potential heavyweight world champions are sure to provide some heavy-hitting, as the undefeated Seth “Mayhem” Mitchell takes on Johnathon Banks in the co-main event, a 12-round stretch for Mitchell’s NABO heavyweight title.

Tickets are priced at $200, $100, $50 and $25.

"It’s cool to get up with Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, you know, Doug E. Fresh, who leads the pack with the most shows each year, and everybody’s catching up. So it’s more than just a show, it’s kind of like checking who weathered the storm, who has stood the test of time, and it’s about a second coming coming back around because [hip-hop] music of today is not what it was yesterday."
