History: Ronson is one of the best known DJs on the national club scene and she’s certainly found an Atlantic City home away from home at the Borgata. Ronson and DJ Vice opened up the new year at mur.mur with the club’s Industry New Year’s Party (which mysteriously was held Dec. 28). Ronson has been making steady appearances at mur.mur for more than a year and is part of the club’s overall DJ crew, appearing every few weeks. “The cornerstone of our nightlife experiences, like our brand of entertainment, is great music,” said Joe Lupo, Borgata’s senior VP of operations, last July. “DJs like Samantha and Vice can create a party anywhere through their use of music. We’ve been fortunate that their talents have become signature to Borgata Nightlife in the Atlantic City market and we are looking forward to them continuing to set the scene for the unique party vibes that have become synonymous with MIXX and mur.mur.”
Ronson was also at mur.mur in February, just days before her famous ex, Lindsay Lohan, appeared at a party at The Pool at Harrah’s. In happier times Ronson sometimes had LiLo by her side at her mur.mur gigs.
Deadmau5, aka Joel Zimmeman hails from Niagara Falls, Ontario. His career began in the 1990s in concert with the “chiptune” movement.
