UPDATE: Blog with Pics!

To be Lindsay Lohan is to naturally be very, very busy. What with Viennese balls to attend (and then ditch to go shopping), benefits for Haiti to organize and regular Tweets to deny whatever the latest rumor about you and your ex might happen to be — well, it doesn’t leave a girl much time (by the way, that all happened to her last week).

Fortunately, when it comes to LiLo, there’s always time to party and Atlantic City club-goers will get a chance to glimpse Lindsay when she hosts an After Dark party at The Pool at Harrah’s Saturday Feb. 20.

Lohan, of course, is no stranger to Atlantic City, making several appearances here when her former partner, DJ Samantha Ronson, performed at resort clubs. But then those were happier days and there were no reported Lohan sightings when Ronson worked mur.mur at Borgata last weekend.

Of course, considering her busy tabloid life and occasional acting — you may remember that at one time Lohan acted in films — it can be hard to keep up with all things Lohan. So as a reader service, we offer a Lohan update, a sort of Lindsay primer, so you can act all informed and with it when Lohan makes her appearance at The Pool. That is assuming she makes her plane.

Here’s a look at the latest headlines surrounding La Lohan:

Lohan and Ronson reunite, sort of:

Was there any more painful break-up to hear about then Ronson and Lohan? Well, probably, as these two have been raging bitter break-up controversies for months. The latest dust-up comes from allegations that Ronson physically abused Lohan at a bar. Rumors hit the Internet that Ronson had punched and choked Lohan. Lohan took quick action, going to Twitter almost immediately.

“This is become a bit much,”[sic] Tweets Lindsay. “Samantha R never raised a hand to me. I’ve never said she did. Enough is Enough. Focus on more important world issues.”

Ronson re-Twitted: “Thank you for clearing that up. The high road was giving me a nose bleed! ;).” Then, for a general audience, she threatened legal action against anyone who continued to spread such rumors after Lohan’s denial.

Lohan then Tweeted back, “You are Welcome ;).”

Wow, winking smiley faces and everything. Maybe there’s hope for these two kids.

Lindsay drops the ball:

OK, the folks at Harrah’s might want to make sure LiLo makes her plane on time for her gig after what happened with the Vienna opera ball. Lohan was scheduled to appear at the ball with 77-year-old millionaire Richard Luger, who reportedly was paying her $150,000 (apparently, paid escort is a new line for Lohan). Lohan, however, got caught up shopping at LAX’s duty free shop. Her plane was held for her, but Lohan couldn’t pay the late boarding fee. Luger was quoted as saying the fee was more than Lohan’s credit card limit.

The bright side is that Lohan, who is not supposed to be in the best of financial health, probably now really needs to show up at The Pool.

Mr. Nightlife:
Howard Weiss
By Whitney Ullman

Labor Day weekend is just about here and the summer may be over for some, but for us Atlantic City-area folk the party doesn’t end. I had the pleasure of speaking with Howard Weiss, the regional director of nightlife operations and strategy development at Caesars Entertainment. Caesars Entertainment embodies some of the hippest places to party and dance including the celebrity hot spot, “The Pool After Dark” at Harrah’s Resort and the Foundation Room, which is a chic ultra lounge located inside the Showboat Casino Hotel.
According to Weiss, the Pool is different than any of the other venue in town because it has two identities. It’s a pool by day, and a nightclub by night.
I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing both aspects.
Daytime at the Pool — especially in the winter months —...
