The close of 2012 for Atlantic City was a busy one, offering a positive kick-start to the new year. With several casino-wide parties; performances by the likes of Tiësto, Jane’s Addiction and the Village People (among others); the sold-out Life in Color bash (top two pics) with Steve Aoki at Bader Field — the first of what promoters say will become an annual event due to its success — and local restaurants and taverns jumping, Dec. 31, 2012 was one for the history books.

Jane’s Addiction always takes it up a notch for special shows. “And whenever we play New Year’s Eve, well, that’s a significant event for our band,” says drummer Stephen Perkins.
