The Veronicas
The Veronicas will be performing live at Dusk nightclub in Caesars Atlantic City Hotel and Casino on Friday, March 5. The show begins at 1am and is open to anyone 21 and over for regular admission charges. Dusk is celebrated for its state-of-the-art sound, light and technical expertise. It is known in the industry as a great place for high-level artists to perform in an intimate setting and has hosted a collection of popular talent including Joel and Benji Madden, Sean Kingston, Robin Thicke, Mya, LMFAO, Paradiso Girls, Leighton Meester, Shwayze, Cisco Adler, Far East Movement, Blake Lewis and Ryan Cabrera. Caesars offers discounted room rates to Dusk customers with rooms starting at $79. To book a room, call 1-888-516-2215 and give the reservationist the code “DPARTY.” For more information about these, and the many more exciting events on the horizon, visit duskac.com.
The Veronicas, Australian twin sisters Jess and Lisa Origliasso, have had huge success on their home continent and since moving to Los Angeles have released a pair of hit albums, The Secret Life Of ... (2006) and Hook Me Up (2009).
The Veronica’s 2009 video for “4ever”:
Coming up, Dusk has the following acts slated to appear:
• Saturday, March 6: Live performance by All-American Rejects’ Tyson Ritter with a DJ Set by DJ Vitale.
• Saturday, March 13: Host Trevor Donovan from 90210.
• Saturday March 20: Host Justin Bobby from The Hills. Music by Devin Lucien.
Pride abounded during Dusk’s guided tour and ribbon-cutting ceremony inside Caesars during the summer of 2009 — and with good reason. The multi-tiered, 10,000-square-foot nightclub was cutting-edge to the core, more spacious and designed differently than anything Atlantic City had seen to that point, and bolstered by a top-flight lighting-and-sound system and some of the best house and special-guest DJs in the business.
The Veronicas brought their catchy pop/rock act to dusk at Caesars Friday, putting on a well-received show that included their hits, such as “Hook Me Up,” and ended with a cover of Britney Spear’s “Hit Me Baby one more time.” They also previewed their new song “Victim.” By all accounts, the crowd went wild.
