The Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority certainly wants to see people spending more time in Atlantic City, and to prove it, they’ve come up with a cute tie-in with HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.

By going through a few simple clicks, you can put yourself in the middle of a special “Wanted in A.C.” poster on your Facebook page.

By logging onto your Facebook account or creating one, you can put your picture and up to two Facebook friends’ pictures on a poster titled, “Wanted in Atlantic City, Birthplace of Boardwalk Empire,’ which you can then post on your wall.

Just go to http://on.fb.me/WantedInAC and you can plant your face in the world created by Nucky Johnson and the other gangster inspirations for Boardwalk Empire.

You can also sign up for e-mails from the ACCVA on city happenings.

“Our visitors love the Boardwalk Empire era and enjoy seeing what the Boardwalk and city looked like at that time,” said Jeff Vasser, president of the ACCVA.  “This gives them a fun way to express that and in a small way feel like they’re part of it.”
