'Boardwalk Empire' actress Paz de la Huerta, who plays Nucky's showgirl, talked with Atlantic City Weekly in Oct. 2010.
During the interview, Huerta revealed how she has never read Nelson Johnson's book, which the HBO series 'Boardwalk Empire' is based on. She also talked about her acting technique and what it is like on the set of the hit television series.

"The book is the book, the show is the show, the book is what inspired the show and the show, with the benefit of some really creative people, is going to re-tell the story of Prohibition through the eyes of criminals. And the focal point of that is Nucky."
Terry Winter, the executive producer, creator and one of the chief writers for the award-winning, Martin Scorsese directed HBO drama series Boardwalk Empire, has finally wrapped filming on the second season's last episode as of Wednesday, Sept. 7.
