A large majority of American Idol fans were positive that Pia Toscano would take the trophy during the show's 2011 season. Dissapointment struck America after Toscano got booted off. But her American Idol elimination did not weaken her career by any stretch; Toscano got right back on her feet and released her hit single "This Time."
