The TV Land channel is giving him its “Legend” award next month, and Disney is handing him a similar honor in August. It’s not that Philbin doesn’t appreciate the accolades, but all they seem to do now is fuel the retirement talk.
“I’m gonna start saying ‘no’ to these things,” he says with a big laugh. “I’m just not ready for it yet.”
