Historic Cold Spring Village always has a strong sense of history and the past going for it, but throw in a little ghostly seasonal fun and you have one of the best reasons of the season to visit the early American setting. Saturday, Oct. 16, the village hosts it annual Pumpkin Fest from 10am-4:30pm.
The village’s shell-paved lanes will be lined with games and pumpkin painting for children as well as a variety of crafters selling their wares. For some spooky fun, visit a haunted house at the Village Barn and hop on a fall hayride through the farm.
A Children’s Halloween Parade will be held at noon throughout the Village lanes. Call the Lower Township Recreation Department at 886-7880 for registration information.
And, of course, food vendors will be selling hot dogs, popcorn and pretzels, funnel cake, and other snacks.
Admission is free, but guests are encouraged to donate non-perishable goods to the ‘Share the Harvest’ Food Drive. For information, go here, or call 898-2300
