The Margate-based Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May County will host its 23rd Annual House Tour on Monday, Aug. 2, to benefit its Older Adult Services program.

This year’s event will feature an exclusive tour of six of Absecon Island’s most luxurious seashore homes located in Ventnor, Margate and Longport.

The tour is $45 per person and will take place from 11am-4pm, offering guests, among other things, a first-hand look into a renovated Margate house that was recently doubled in size and features “green” and recycled materials.

The tour will also include a peek at an exclusive sports memorabilia collection from college and pros, and promises to have an appeal for every taste.

“We are continually adding new elements to make the event more exciting,” says Beverly Rubin, co-chair of the event with Beth Shor.

“This year the homes are absolutely amazing, plus we have added a fisherman’s auction and have increased the value of our raffle prizes.”

JFS will feature three raffle drawings, with first place being a beautiful diamond necklace from Serago Roberts Jewelers valued at more than $3,000. Second place is courtside 76ers tickets with a parking pass (a $700 value), and third place is a 22-inch Colby flat-screen television (a $250 value).

Winners do not need to be present at the house tour to win.

Raffle entries are $10 each and can be purchased, along with the tour tickets themselves, at the JFS office (607 N. Jerome Ave. in Margate) or be ordered online at jfsatlantic.org.
