'Neon City' — the band's new CD.

New Jersey native and guitar virtuoso Billy Walton is now touring as the lead guitarist for Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes — a band born out of Asbury Park that ranks as rock ‘n’ roll royalty in the state. On Saturday night, Jan. 16, Walton will take a break from the tour to perform locally with his own band, and to celebrate the release of his band’s new CD entitled Neon City. The event will mark the first of several scheduled “Tony Mart Reunion Party” gigs of 2010. The Billy Walton Band — which includes Walton, bassist William Paris and drummer Marcus Croan — will bring its sizzling sound to the Sandi Pointe Coastal Bistro (formerly Mac’s Restaurant) at 908 Shore Rd. in Somers Point. Doors open 7pm and the show starts 8pm. There will also be a Tony Mart-style dance contest, meet-and-greet interviews with the Tony Mart All-Stars, and autographed copies of Neon City available for purchase.

Tickets are $6 per person and will be available at the door. Reservations for tables of eight or more will be accepted. For more information, e-mail tonymarto@aol.com or call 653-6069 or 927-2759. Tony Mart’s welcomes you to join the party and “Let The Good Times Roll!”
