Considering the Eve

For as long as I’ve been covering Atlantic City entertainment — that’s 36 years, if you’re keeping score — I’ve had my own little holiday writing ritual. Local Girl Cierra Kaler-Jones is Crowned Miss New Jersey 2014 in Ocean City

Galloway Township resident Cierra Kaler-Jones was crowned Miss New Jersey on Saturday night, June 14, in Ocean City. The 21-year-old Rutgers University senior and Absegami High graduate won the judges over with her platform of “Empowering Today’s Youth Through Arts Education” and her dance to a Beyonce song in the talent portion.
