The event also featured servers giving out glasses of champagne and wine, tuna tartar presented in mini-ice cream cones, lobster corndogs and mango cotton candy.

After a great meal, it was off to Ovation Hall for the performance by Maroon 5. Adam Levine’s side gig as a mentor/vocal coach on NBC hit TV series The Voice, has upped the wow factor for both Levine and Maroon 5 and it showed in the enthusiasm of a packed house.

The sexy tattooed front man knows how to work a crowd and did so while belting out M5 favorites like “This Love,” “Harder to Breathe” and “Misery.”

The band has a new album coming out in June, Overexposed, and the debut single is the uptempo collaboration with rapper Wiz Khalifa, “Payphone.” Levine has called the album the band’s “poppiest album yet," and proved that by performing the lovely,  reggae-tinged  “One More Night.”

The opening act for the evening was Javier Colon, the season one champ of The Voice, mentored by Levine. He returned to the stage to duet with Levine on Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Middle,” which they did on The Voice. It was a highpoint of the evening.

Other hot cuts from the night included “Sweetest Goodbye,”  “Never Gonna Leave This Bed” and the band's encore kickoff, “Moves Like Jagger.”
