Jim Craine will be playing with his All Star Big band on the Steel Pier Sunday.

The City of Atlantic City, in partnership with the Steel Pier, will hold the resort’s annual Best Dressed Contest on the Steel Pier at Virginia Avenue and the Boardwalk, starting 2pm on Easter Sunday, April 4. Great prizes will be awarded including savings bonds for winners in the children’s categories.

Contestants can register on the pier from noon to 1:30pm. The Easter Bunny and his friends will be on hand starting at 1pm. Hot chocolate and donuts will be served from 1-3pm to children while supplies last along with an Easter Egg giveaway and goody bags with prizes.

Beyond the award plaques to be presented by the city, the best dressed prizes will include: Savings Bonds for the children’s categories (infant and students) along with other great prizes for all other categories courtesy of the Steel Pier and Easter Baskets for teenage winners provided by 95.1 WAYV.

Participating partners include the Hard Rock Café, Absecon Lighthouse, the Rain Forest Café and the Atlantic City Aquarium, Harrah’s Entertainment and Trump Taj Mahal, Steel Pier and 95.1 WAYV.

Additional prizes will include free kiddie rides, cotton candy and stuffed animals.

The judges include Don Marrandino, president of Harrah’s East Coast; Kimberly Lucasti, owner of Eleganza; Chrissy Catanoso, co-owner of Steel Pier; Dr. Richard Pestell, director of Kimmel Cancer Center of Thomas Jefferson University; and Patti Stites, events and convention director of Trump Taj Mahal.
