Adam Lambert, 50 Cent coming to Atlantic City
Adam Lambert, with opening act Allison Iraheta, headlines June 26 at Borgata.
It should be quite a weekend of entertainment June 25-26 in Atlantic City. America Idol season eight runner-up Adam Lambert has announced his tour dates, with opening act Allison Iraheta, also from Idol’s season eight. He will appear at the Borgata on June 26, according to his Web site, in support of his debut album For Your Entertainment.
This means that Glambert will appear in town before season eight champion Kris Allen, scheduled to appear at the Borgata Aug. 7. Tickets for Lambert, and opening acts Orianthi and Iraheta are $55 and $65 and go on sale May 1.
In addition to the Lambert announcent, the Web site livedaily.com says that 50 Cent, a.k.a. Curtis Jackson, has announced a spring tour in support of his current album Before I Self Destruct. The tour will close June 25 at Atlantic City’s House of Blues.
On his current tour, Jackson has been introducing material from his next album, which will be titled Black Magic and is tentatively scheduled for a summer release.
As various advertisements for Idol sponsors played on the jumbo screens pre-show, anytime Adam Lambert’s face was shown, a hearty group squeal rang out across the Hall. There were lesser reactions to Idol winner Kris Allen, Danny Gokey and Allison Iraheta.

“What does it matter that Lamber appears before Allen or vice versa?
The race is over; Allen won!”

“Too bad they can't all be in town around the same time. I'm sure they would like to get together again since their NYC concert. ADAM. Kris & Allison are still very close even though the don't get to see much of each other. Kradison LOVE!!”

“#1 & #2 wow a little childish aren't we? You can catch Kris at any amusement park of state fair across the country or you can catch him opening up for someone else so chill.”

“#4
You are the one being childish. Kris and Adam are both playing at the Borgata. And if you compare the tour schedules, they are basically playing the same type and size of venues. For instance, Adam is playing the Orange County (CA) Fair in late July. It's not like one is playing arenas and stadiums and the other is playing small, second-or thir-rate venues. So what was the point of you taking a jab at Kris?”
