On March 10 heads will bang at The House of Blues Casino at Showboat Atlantic City as the casino’s Party Pit plays host to the band, Filter. Known for their hard style and deep lyrical content, Filter will perform their greatest hits beginning at 10pm.
“This will be the biggest show the House of Blues Party Pit has ever experienced,” said Jason Spencer, Regional Director of Entertainment for Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City. “Nowhere else on the East Coast are you able to find talent of this caliber performing for free; we are excited for our guests to experience Filter live on March 10.”
The 1990’s punk rock band famous for their classic hits “Hey Man, Nice Shot,” Jurassitol,” “Take a Picture,” “Thanks Bro” and “The Best Things” are as excited to make their debut performance at Showboat Atlantic City as their diehard fans, each member sounded off about the upcoming performance.
“We are absolutely ready to come ‘Filterize’ the Party Pit!! Bring you’re A game!” says frontman Richard Patrick.
Guitarist Jonny Radtke noted, “[I’ve] never played HOB there and am looking forward to it.”
“[We] get to rock Atlantic City…it’s been a while,” exclaims bassist Phil Buckman and drummer Mika Fineo says, “I have lots of friends and family there, it should be a great show.”
The performance is free and open to the public and Showboat Atlantic City urges fans looking to view the concert from the comfort of the House of Blues Casino’s couches to come early, as reservations are not accepted.
The House of Blues Party Pit has presented a series of free concerts including performances by The Gin Blossoms, Fuel, Tommy Lee, and Ed Kowalczyk of Live.
Surely concert-goers will be jumping around for this one.
“This is the first show that I’ve been a part of that will blow our minds and reveal things that will explain almost all our questions."
