Atlantic City Marathon Weekend 


Since the Milton & Betty Katz JCC took over operation of the Atlantic City Marathon in 2009, it has grown into 
a multi-faceted, weekend-long event that now sees about 4,500 competitors.

8:50am — National Anthem


9am — Start of the Shore Medical Center 10K and 5K races


10am — 5K and 10K awards ceremony at Bally’s Dennis Courtyard


11am— Start of Kids Fit Final Mile and One Mile Run 


4:30pm and 8pm — Seating times for pre-Marathon and Half Marathon dinner (at Bally’s Ocean Ballroom. Free to all half-marathon and marathon runners, $20 for non-runners.)


Sunday, Oct. 21

7:45am — National Anthem 


7:50am — Start time for walkers and hand cyclists 


8am — Start of the Marathon and Half Marathon 


11:30am — Marathon and Half Marathon awards ceremony


9am-2pm — Finish Line Finishers Village, Dennis Courtyard, live entertainment (also throughout the entire marathon course)

Atlantic City's Fall Solstice

Even the dunes can be beautiful this time of year with their seagrasses blowing in the wind. Down by Brigantine, where the bay and the Atlantic come together, waters are calm and can appear as a dark sheet of granite. Once the cranes and boulders are gone, the view in front of Revel will be an endless panorama of sand and ocean waves rolling in one behind the other.
