Comedian Tracy Morgan ushered in the New Year with a raunchy show at the Music Box

At two minutes to midnight, Dec. 31, 2009, the big screens inside the Music Box at the Borgata in Atlantic City went live to Times Square to ring in the New Year with Dick Clark and the big ball drop.

It wasn’t the only time a spherical object came up during comedian Tracy Morgan’s hilarious, yet extremely raunchy, one-and-half hour set on New Year’s Eve. We’re talking multiple-orafice-sex raunchiness.

If the packed crowd thought Queens-native opener Joe Moffa’s act was on the bawdy side, once Morgan stepped on stage at 10:30pm, dressed in blue jeans, white sneakers and a light blue long-sleeve shirt, the raunch level went up considerably. Morgan, who recently told 'Atlantic City Weekly' he’s been sober for a year, told jokes ranging from President Obama smoking pot to anal sex to his infatuation with pornography.

In hysterical — and sometimes absurdist — bits, Morgan had the crowd roaring with laughter, a fitting way to end a decade of so many bad news stories and horrific events.

Right off the bat, spotting front-row audience members in sparkly New Year’s hats, the 41-year-old comic told them to “take those stupid hats off” and went on a tirade against the American customs during the holiday season.

During his synopsis of 2009, he asked why Barack Obama only got a commemorative coin.

“Give him a six dollar bill,” Morgan joked. “You can’t get shit with a commemorative coin.”
