Playing music of the 1920s, including 'Boardwalk Empire'-inspired sets, the Jersey Rhythm Devils are available for private parties, special events and other engagements in the Atlantic City, Philadelphia and New York region. The JRDs have performed at Resorts Casino Hotel, and at Kennedy Plaza on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, opening for the legendary Commander Cody to kick off the 2011 Mardi Gras on the Boardwalk series.
On Sept. 24 & 25, 2011, the JRDs had the pleasure of playing at Caesars Atlantic City for the property's Boardwalk Empire season two premiere parties.

Party Music of the 1920s…and beyond
Formed in the shadows of Nucky Johnson’s Prohibition era Atlantic City, The Jersey Rhythm Devils’ unique repertoire and instrumentation bring the music of the “Roaring 20s” to life once again. The five piece band (violin, mandolin, guitar, piano and vocals) features professional musicians in period dress, conveying the joy and passion of the music and of the times.
The music of the 1920s is fun, rebellious and provocative. At times, the arrangements were lush and beautiful, while other songs aided in the dancing, illegal drinking and general revelry of the gin joints and parlors. Performing tunes such as: Red, Red Robin, Charleston, Babyface and the wonderfully naughty Yo-Yo Song, The Jersey Rhythm Devils recreate the spirit of the era that brought us the flapper, the speakeasy and Al Capone.
Formed in April 2011, The Jersey Rhythm Devils have already performed a number of prestigious gigs in the Atlantic City area, including Resorts Casino and Hotel over Memorial Day Weekend , opening for the legendary Commander Cody at Kennedy Plaza on the Atlantic City Boardwalk and a private surprise 60th birthday party for HBO Boardwalk Empire Series actor, Anthony Laciura in September 2011.
