Boogie Nights at the Tropicana held its official grand opening party on Friday, May 4.
The new digs at the Trop, just around the corner from Tango's, and with a Boogie Nights themed party pit gaming area in front, is a massive love shack for partying.
The music and memorabilia from the 1970s and 1980s is still the theme, with the new club offering specialized lounges for people to sit down, order bottle service and chill.
In fact, the "Love Shack" is one of the several loungin' areas.

The dance floor was poppin' till late at night on Friday night with a slew of VIP guests and Atlantic City party-goers.
Dave Pena, who brought the club to the Tropicana, in conjunction with the Trop's CEO Tony Rodio, kept the excitement and party vibe going through the night with several guest appearances, including Jimmie "JJ" Walker and pop star Tiffany.

The latest incarnation of Squeeze, featuring Tilbrook, Difford, Stephen Large, John Bentley and Simon Hanson, takes the stage at the Borgata in Atlantic City, with the B-52’s, on Friday, July 13. The two bands are currently on the road in the United States on their Summer Dance Party tour.
Like a slinky, the basic concept was pretty simple, but once Boogie Nights was unveiled on what seemed to be a retro-starved public about five years ago, the ’70s and ’80s themed nightclub took off like Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon.
Weiss’ work has been the subject of books and photo galleries, and, owing to his friendship with Boogie Nights owner Dave Pena, some of his work from the 1970s and ’80s will be on display when Boogie Nights opens.
“I think when this club is done, people are going to walk in and there’s going to be a wow factor,” Rodio says. “The club is going to be on a much higher level than it was down at Resorts.”
