Soaking Celebs for United Way

Dunk your favorite pseudo and local celebrity at Trump Plaza's Celebrity Dunk Tank Beach Bash, which will raise funds for the United Way.

Celebrity Dunk Tank Beach Bash

Where: The Beach Bar at Trump Plaza, Mississippi Ave. and the Boardwalk, A.C.

When: Saturday, Aug. 21, from 2-5pm.

How Much: Admission is free. For $2 you get three chances to dunk the "celebrity" of your choice to benefit the United Way of Atlantic County.

Details: Guests can dunk people like Craig Robinson (a contestant on ABC’s The Bachelorette), Lauren Harris (Miss FHM magazine 2005), Ashley Elmore (on ABC’s The Bachelor Pad), Hugh Douglas and Ike Reese (both radio hosts and former Philadelphia Eagles), Matt Cord (76ers announcer and radio host) and five-time WIP Wing Bowl Champion El Wingador at this inaugural event to benefit the United Way of Atlantic County.

The Bacardi-&-Coke Dream Team Girls will also be on hand, and also available to be dunked.

Enjoy great food, fun and music and do it all for a good cause. The party overlaps the Beach Bar’s weekly Sultry Saturdays festivities, which will include the music of 4 Speed (1-5pm), Big City (7-11pm) and offer Bud Lime (11:30am-7pm) and Captain Morgan (5-9pm) drink specials.

From the G.M. — “It’s an honor to help a wonderful organization like the United Way,” says Trump Plaza general manager Jim Rigot. “When celebrities come out and devote their time to an event like this, it speaks volumes about what a great cause the United Way is.”
