Watch the Game with the Good Guys Watching football on Monday night at Testa's were Bridget Millett, Don Keck, Christine Brennan, Ray Hess, Casey Simerson, Chuck Minahan, Heather Erickson and Mark Jenigen (bartender Randy Beane is in the backround). --> Each weekend, football fans converge on the Testa's Good Guys Pub to cheer on their favorite teams. A party atmosphere fills this Mays Landing pub, located across from the Sugar Hill Inn, as numerous TV monitors broadcast the games in seat rumbling surround sound stereo. Owner Rob Testa makes sure that there are plenty of giveaways and food and drink specials.
The place is sure to be rocking this Monday night as the Eagles play the Cowboys for Monday Night Football. It's also Wing Night at the pub. Specials (7pm-midnight) include $2 Yuengling drafts and $2.50 Yuengling bottles, 35-cent wings and $1 tail tenders. There's also a free halftime buffet with prizes and giveaways throughout the game.
A friendly pub with a reputation for good food and entertainment, it's always fun at Testa's. On Friday, enjoy the music of DJ Jay from 10pm-midnight, when Coors Light bottles are $2.50. On Saturday, rock with DJ Sonny from 10pm-2am and enjoy $2.50 Bud Light bottles from 8-11pm.
Since 1997, Rob Testa has offered a small local tavern with a hometown feel. It's open everyday and serves a full menu. Recently renovated, Testa's is a bright, cheerful place with an old-fashioned wooden bar and several tables. The dining area can comfortably host 40 diners, while the bar seats an additional 40. Lining the walls are framed photographs of sports greats and large, colorful movie posters. Shoot a game of pool and warm up by the glowing fireplace or with Testa's wings, which range from "mild to hot to insane!" So, for a hot time, visit the friendly bar that's been serving local diners and football fans for almost nine years.
Testa's Good Guys Pub is located at 5698 Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Mays Landing. Open daily 10am. Call 625-1926 or 625-8191 (for take-out).
