The three-day boating extravaganza is underway for 28th year at Farley State Marina through Sunday, Sept. 9
ATLANTIC CITY — One of the resort’s most popular late-summer, multi-day events is back at Farley State Marina — the 28th annual Atlantic City In-Water Power Boat — and word on the street … er, water … is that now has never been a better time to buy a new boat. The show runs through Sunday, Sept. 9, at Farley State (adjacent to Golden Nugget in Atlantic City’s marina district).

Climb aboard several of the latest models for 2013 or remnants of 2012. The selection includes sport cruisers, express yachts, sport-fishing yachts, walk-arounds, cuddies, bow riders and others ranging in size from 18 to 75 feet.

The show runs through 7pm today — Thursday, Sept. 6 — and continues 11am-7pm Friday, 10am-7pm Saturday, and 10am-6pm Sunday. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Included with an adult admission is a subscription to one of the following magazines (a $9 value) — Yachting, Caribbean Travel & Life, Sport Fishing, TransWorld Surf, Popular Science, or Ski magazine.

There’s also the Marine Accessory Mart featuring marine electronics, fishing equipment and supplies, lifts, towers, repair facilities, training, boat financing and insurance as well as a wide variety of nautical supplies, accessories and clothing. There will also be plenty of food vendors and live music.
