Although July 4 falls on a Wednesday this year, it doesn’t mean that the holiday fun will be in short supply in the southern New Jersey and Atlantic City region.
July 4th is on a Wednesday this year, which is usually a good thing for resort businesses. It means that some Jersey shore visitors will celebrate the holiday the weekend before the holiday and some will celebrate the weekend after the holiday, which equates to more business for everyone … at least that is the theory.

“Nice going AC!!! I'm delighted to see the area is taking advantage of it's God given resources to provide some non-gambling options to tourists and locals. For years I've heard beach goers asking where they can rent and participate in all the items listed above..
I own 10 acres between RT 322 and the entrance to the AC Expressway (exit 12) which would be an ideal location for a large billboard listing all the things AC has to offer and visitors can begin considering these water activities during their stay as the enter the ACE. If interested in renting this location, I'd have to seek approval from Hamilton Twp officials. It's the busiest intersection in the county and is extremely visible to tourist coming into AC from Washington, Maryland, Phila. and any other locations south or west of AC.
Kudo's to those responsible for getting these activities promoted. How about some gondola rides from Bader field to Brigintine?? Is it possible?”
