Philadelphia’s popular Walnut Street Theatre brings their performance of Ken Ludwig’s “Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery” to the Stockton Performing Arts Center Saturday, Feb. 10.
A humorous take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Hound of the Baskervilles,” a cast of five actors will portray 40 different characters, all donned with disguises and exaggerated accents. Some of the original story remains — the male heirs of the Baskerville line are being murdered one by one, and Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson must work quickly to solve the case. But get ready for some laughs, as the cast will be adding a dose of humor to the story this time around.
The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $33. The Stockton Performing Arts Center is located on Stockton University’s main campus off Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway Township. To order tickets, call 609-652-9000 or go to Stockton.edu/PAC.
