Love, Loss and What I Wore

Ladies, you’ll want to bring your girlfriends, sisters and mother to Fool Moon Theatre Company’s production of Nora and Delia Ephron’s “Love, Loss and What I Wore” Fridays through Sundays, Feb. 9 through 18.

Reminisce on the highs and lows of life as you watch the cast of four talented local actresses — Pamela Dollak, Kate Read, Dayle Friedman and Nina Quickmire Meron — perform a series of comedic and touching monologues concerning clothes, mothers, prom dresses, bra, and purses.

Directed by Pattye Herron, the play will benefit five different local non-profits over the course of the six performances, with a representative from each organization rounding out that evening’s cast. Organizations to be recognized include Gilda’s Club South Jersey (Friday, Feb. 9 or Sunday, Feb. 18); Gateway Playhouse (Saturday, Feb. 10); Shore Medical Center’s Cancer Center (Sunday, Feb. 11); the Community Food Bank of New Jersey — Southern Branch (Friday, Feb. 16); and the South Jersey AIDS Alliance (Saturday, Feb. 17).

All performances will take place at Gateway Playhouse, 738 Bay Ave., Somers Point. Times are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $25 or $30. Call 609-653-0553 or go to GatewayByTheBay.org.
