Lukas Vondracek

Thirty-one year old Czech-born pianist Lukas Vondracek will join the Bay Atlantic Symphony for two performances Saturday and Sunday, March 17 & 18.

The international award-winning musician will guest star in performances that include selections by Sir Edward Elgar, Edvard Grieg and Ludwig van Beethoven at Vineland’s Landis Theater and the Stockton Performing Arts Center in Galloway.

The group will delight audiences with classics “Greeting of Love” by Elgar, Grieg’s “Piano Concerto in A Minor” featuring Vondracek, and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5.”

Concerts take place at 3 p.m. Saturday at Landis Theater, 830 E. Landis Ave. and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stockton Performing Arts Center, Stockton University, Jimmie Leeds Road, Galloway Township. Pre-concert conversations with Music Director Jed Gaylin will take place at 1 p.m. before the Stockton Performance and 2 p.m. at Landis Theater.
