Mariah Carey's upcoming holiday show at Borgata has been canceled due to the megastar contracting an "upper respiratory infection" after suffering from a bout of the flu last week, so she says in a Tweet from earlier today.

Carey, who was slated to perform at Borgata on Saturday, Nov. 25, also recently canceled shows in Ohio and Upstate New York. She was quoted in Newsday.com stating that she must adhere to "doctor's orders and rest until he says I can sing on stage."

Borgata confirmed the cancellation and said that refunds will be given at the point of purchase.
