June is LGBT Pride month. The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is recognizing the occasion with a special room package and an entertainment line-up to appeal to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

The Out at Borgata Package includes a one-night stay for two in a Fiore Suite, $50 toward any Borgata signature restaurant or in-room dining, two complimentary cocktails at B Bar, and two day passes to Spa Toccare’s men’s or women’s lounges.

In addition, Borgata’s June entertainment line-up at the Music Box features two openly gay performers, Wanda Sykes and Jane Lynch. Sykes will perform June 10 and 11, and Lynch will perform June 25.

And, after a successful first show at the Borgata in February, America’s Drag Stars will return June 4 for an evening of “music, dance and naughtiness to celebrate Pride Month.”

Earlier that evening, Sister Funk, a five-piece all-female band, will play the Borgata’s Gypsy Bar. Bringing more than 15 years’ experience to the stage, the band has a repertoire that ranges from classics like “Crazy” by Patsy Cline and “Mustang Sally” by Mack Rice, to current songs on the top 40 charts, and everything in between, including Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”

In 2016 the Human Rights Campaign, the largest national LGBT civil rights organization, gave Borgata a perfect score on the 2016 Corporate Equality Index, a national survey that examines corporate policies and procedures related to LGBT workplace equality. Caesars Entertainment Corp. received a similar acknowledgement.

Along with Resorts Casino Hotel, the Borgata is a member of the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance. This private, nonprofit, membership-supported organization is dedicated to promoting a better economic, social and political advocacy of GLBT and GLBT supportive businesses and citizens in the greater Atlantic City region.
