Readers of Casino Player magazine named Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa 2017’s Best Overall Gaming Resort.
And, for the second year in a row, it took first place as Atlantic City’s best overall gaming resort, as well as best hotel, hotel rooms, pool, spa, casino, comps, race/sports book and live poker. It took second for best hotel staff, table game tournaments, poker tournaments, blackjack and craps, and third for best video slots.
Resorts Casino Hotel, the No. 2-rated overall gaming resort in Atlantic City, took home awards for best hotel staff, suites, dealers, slot tournaments, video slots and blackjack and craps. Resorts received second place awards for best casino, players club, comps, promotions and reel slots. Third place awards included best hotel, rooms, table game tournaments, video poker and roulette.
Resorts also was named the “Casino Where You Feel The Luckiest,” followed by Golden Nugget Atlantic City and Borgata.
Golden Nugget took third place as best overall gaming resort in Atlantic City, and won top honors for best hosts, video poker and roulette. Its second place awards were for best rooms, suites, spa, slot tournaments and video slots. Third place awards included best hotel staff, players club, promotions, poker tournaments, reel slots and blackjack and craps.
Golden Nugget also was judged as “Favorite Casino Resort to Vacation At,” followed by Resorts and Caesars Atlantic City. Caesars’ other wins were third place in the categories of best suites, pool and dealers.
Bally’s Atlantic City took first place for reel slots, best table game and poker tournaments. Second place honors included best race/sports book (even though it doesn’t have one!) and live poker, and third place for best spa and hosts.
Harrah’s Resort took second in the categories of best pool and hosts.
Tropicana Atlantic City was honored for best players club and promotions, second for best hotel, dealers, video poker and roulette, and third for best casino, comps, slot tournaments and live poker.
ZorkFest, a seminar on casino loyalty programs and travel, will take place from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Dec. 2, at Bally’s.
Speakers will share tips on how to optimize your casino rating and earn more comps for less play. Other programs will focus on maximizing airline miles and points, and tips to get the best deals on airfare, hotel rooms and rental cars.
