The 14th annual East Coast Gaming Congress returns to Atlantic City Monday and Tuesday (May 24-25) with a full slate of speakers and participating companies scheduled to be at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

The theme of this year’s event is “Acting and Reacting in Dynamic Markets.”

Speakers will include several CEOs, presidents and chairmen from esteemed gaming companies, including James F. Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming; Kevin DeSanctis, president and CEO of Revel Entertainment; Mitchell Etess, CEO of Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority; Mark Juliano, CEO of Trump Entertainment; Gary Loveman, chairman, president and CEO of Harrah’s Entertainment; Keith E. Smith, president and CEO of Boyd Gaming Corporation and others.

There will be an opening night reception on Monday, May 24, at Dusk, located at Caesars, sponsored by the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority.

The annual conference has been a terrific opportunity for leaders in the gaming field to share ideas and discuss the current state of the industry.

Obviously, this year’s conference will include discussions on the new challenges that established gaming companies face amid emerging markets, as well as “identifying the opportunities for both the public and private sectors,” as the ECGC Web site states.

More than 600 people in the industry are expected to attend this year’s conference, including the Honorable Brian Dempsey, Representative from the State of Massachusetts. He will also be one of the speakers.

A day-long conference will follow the Dusk kick-off event, which will include “a regional panel with five operators representing 13 properties in the Northeast discussing the competitive challenges and outlook in this dynamic region, the ever‐popular ‘View from
Wall Street,’ where five premier gaming analysts will share their outlook on East Coast gaming, and finally, an update on the Atlantic City market,” according to press release.

The East Coast Gaming Congress is organized and produced by Gaming Industry Observer. Michael Pollock, a long-time gaming analyst and managing director of the publication’s parent company, Spectrum Gaming Group, says in a press release that he's expecting another informative and interesting event.

“Once again, the East Coast Gaming Congress is providing the premier forum for many of the industry’s top executives, public officials and analysts to share their insights and outlook gaming in the East. This is an invaluable opportunity for attendees to learn, to be challenged, and to network,” he says.

Others sponsoring the conference include Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce; Atlantic City Press; Casino Career Institute; Casino Enterprise Management; Energenic; EwingCole; Gaming Laboratories International; Global Gaming Business; IGT and Stockton University.
