$2 Million Winning Ticket Game — One lucky player is guaranteed $1,000,000
Tropicana Casino & Resort has brought back the Winning Ticket game. This giveaway is bigger and better than ever with chances to win up to $1,000,000 every day now through October 5, 2012, and a guaranteed $1,000,000 payout to one lucky player on Saturday, October 6, 2012.
“Last year’s Winning Ticket Game was wildly popular with our players, so we knew we had to top ourselves this year. I want to go on record as saying I guarantee one lucky Trop player will win a prize of one million dollars. This is one of the largest promotional payouts in Atlantic City,” said Tony Rodio, President and Chief Operating Officer of Tropicana Entertainment.
Participation in Tropicana’s $2 Million Winning Ticket is easy. During the promotion period, new and existing Diamond Club members will receive one free ticket for the Winning Ticket Game through any comp machine in the casino. Players can choose their own lucky numbers or select a quick pick option that will randomly assign six numbers. Club members can receive additional Winning Ticket entries by earning two Diamond Club Points per day. Plus, look for Bonus Entry Days throughout the promotion when Diamond Club members can earn multiple Winning Ticket entries to increase their chances of winning big.
A Zoom Ball machine will conduct five drawings daily at 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9pm in Palm Walk. On Fridays and Saturdays, an extra drawing will be held at 11pm. The results of these drawings will be televised throughout the resort. If a member’s ticket has three or more matching numbers with those drawn, that member is awarded a prize for $25 - $1,000 in Free Slot Play. If all six numbers match, $1,000,000 is awarded (split amongst the winners if there is more than one.)
All prize winners are encouraged to keep their Winning Tickets, because they are your entry into the guaranteed $1,000,000 prize drawing on Saturday, October 6, 2012. From this pool of entries, ten winners will be called to play in the Winning Ticket finale in Palm Walk. A large game board will hold ten envelopes. All ten winners will select a prize envelope—nine contain vouchers for $1,000 cash prizes but one will hold a voucher for the grand prize of $1,000,000.
Only Diamond Club members are eligible to play Tropicana’s $2 Million Winning Ticket game. If you don’t already have a Diamond Club Card, signing up is free and easy. You can apply online at www.tropicana.net or register for your card at Tropicana’s Promotions Booth where you can also receive all game rules.
With the opening of the retro nightclub Boogie Nights at Tropicana Friday, May 4, comes a new experience for gaming enthusiasts as well with the Boogie Nights Party Pit. The far-out vibe of the new Boogie Nights experience will soon spill out of the retro nightclub and right into the adjacent gaming area located at the venue’s entrance. Table game players can jump right into the action at Boogie Nights Party Pit with a Big 6 Wheel, two roulette tables and two blackjack games, all with custom-designed Boogie Nights layouts. Party Pit dealers and cocktail servers will keep the energy levels high, dressed in retro party outfits and shaking their booties to the time warp soundtrack.
“We created this gaming area with Boogie Nights’ loyal followers in mind,” said Tony Rodio, President and Chief Operating Officer of Tropicana Entertainment. “So their immersive retro adventure doesn’t need to begin and end at the nightclub’s entrance, but is also extended to their Tropicana gaming experience.”
Like a slinky, the basic concept was pretty simple, but once Boogie Nights was unveiled on what seemed to be a retro-starved public about five years ago, the ’70s and ’80s themed nightclub took off like Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon.
In the world of gaming, ups and downs are part of the enticement. One moment you are down to your last dollar, the next minute you hit it big. That equation can apply to a casino property as well. Tropicana Casino and Resort, celebrating its 30th anniversary in Atlantic City this month, has demonstrated that the roll of the dice can be both favorable and unfavorable over the course of decades
Kicking off the summer season in “FIN-tastic” fashion, The Tropicana announced today its new seafood restaurant, FIN, will open on Friday, May 28. The restaurant will feature locally grown food and wine from New Jersey fishermen, farmers and vintners.

“Late December a friend and I went into Trop to take advantage of Diamond Club promo. My friend has a black card from Borgata. The rep said her card was inactive at the TROP and to return after January 1st, because during the month of January TROP would match her player card and not to re-activate now even though the promo offered free parking to locals. We left and paid the $10 parking fee. Yesterday, January 25,2012 we went back and was told no such promo...sorry. Another $10 fee and no card...Trop must not want her money and does not stand behind their reps misspeaks. I am disappointed in the manner this was handled. And our time wasted.”
