Stop by the Hilton on Monday Nov. 15 for a meal and a free cookbook
Patsy's Atlantic City head chef and co-owner Sal Scognamillo.
Patsy’s Italian Restaurant at the Atlantic City Hilton will host a book party for Sal Scognamillo, head chef and co-owner of Patsy’s Atlantic City and the original Patsy’s in New York City, Frank Sinatra’s favorite Italian restaurant.
The first 50 dinner reservations made on Monday, Nov. 15, will receive a free autographed copy of Patsy’s Cookbook: Classic Italian Recipes From a New York City Landmark Restaurant and meet Chef Scognamillo. The event will take place at 6pm. For reservations call 340-7220.
The book is as much a remembrance of a family’s life in the restaurant business as it is about some tasty recipes. I’m a particular fan of the stuffed vegetable recipes in the book.
But you will also find out that "Archie Bunker," Carroll O’Conner, spoke perfect Italian and that Sinatra sometimes slipped into the kitchen and cooked his own favorites.
Chef Sal says: "Everyone will be getting a cookbook and a jar of Pasty’s sauce as part of the admission to the event. You have the food, you have the singing, and you have the dancing. It will be a wonderful night.”
