Top chefs from the three new restaurants coming to Harrah's Resort and Caesars this summer will preview their cuisine at Harrah's Viking Cooking School starting May 10.
Despite the tight economy, Atlantic City has continued to expand its acclaimed dining options. Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City is in charge of the next wave of new restaurants headed to town by welcoming Stephen Hanson and B.R. Guest Restaurants into Harrah’s Resort and Caesars. The upcoming additions are Dos Caminos and Bill’s Bar & Burger at Harrah’s, and Atlantic Grill at Caesars. These will be the first B.R. Guest restaurants to arrive in Atlantic City.
The restaurants are scheduled to open in late May and June, but you won’t have to wait that long to enjoy the culinary delights of the top chefs in charge of the new eateries.
Harrah’s popular Viking Cooking School will provide a sneak peek by presenting a restaurant preview series starring three dynamic chefs. Beginning May 10, the weekly Tuesday night series will feature an exceptional roster of talent — Dos Caminos’ Chef Ivy Stark, Iron Chef America competitor, Anthony Amoroso for Atlantic Grill and Chef Brett Reicher for Bill’s Bar and Burger.
Chef Stark will demonstrate her acclaimed modern Mexican style cuisine on May 10. Chef Stark and Chef Scott Linquist, will be opening Dos Caminos restaurant at Harrah’s Resort at the end of May. Dos Caminos Atlantic City will feature the restaurant’s signature dishes including Carnitas Tacos, Tequila Cured Salmon Ceviche and Camarones Al Ajillo. Chef Stark will be cooking simple delicious everyday Mexican cuisine for guests to sample.
Chef Amoroso from Atlantic Grill will be revealing his culinary style on May 17. Chef Amoroso is looking forward to showcasing sumptuous recipes featuring sustainable local fish ideal for summer dining. Atlantic Grill will open at Caesars in June in a waterfront space with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Chef Reicher of Bill’s Bar & Burger will conclude the VCS summer preview series on May 24. Chef Reicher will be making his famous sliders, hand crafting specialty milkshakes and showing students how to perfectly season French fries. Bill’s Bar & Burger is opening at Harrah’s in June.
The demonstrations are $99 and will be from 6-8pm. Guests can register on the Viking website, or by calling (800) 2-HARRAHS.
