Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival Returns This Summer, July 29-Aug. 1.
After putting together a great event for gourmet food fans last summer, Harrah’s Entertainment is teaming up with the Food Network and will again host the Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival featuring numerous Food Network celebrity chefs.
The series of 40 events (double the number from last year) should be even more spectacular than last year and will take place from Thursday, July 29 to Sunday, Aug. 1, including parties, wine events, cooking demonstrations and more at Caesars, Bally's Showboat/House of Blues and Harrah's Resort.
If you crave culinary superstars, the A.C. Food & Wine Fest delivers dozens of stars from the Food Network, including the spike-haired star of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Guy’s Big Bite, Guy Fieri. He will host a Cheesesteak Battle on Friday, July 30, in Caesars' Palladium Ballroom, participate in a cooking demonstration at Caesars Circus Maximus on Saturday, July 31, and host Guy’s Big Bite Brunch at Phillip’s Seafood, also on July 31.
Another great event will be Blues, Brews & BBQ with chefs Pat & Gina Neely and music by Robert Cray at the House of Blues on Saturday, July 31, from noon-3pm. Paula Deen's Boardwalk Party takes place Sunday at the Dennis Courtyard at Bally's Sunday, Aug. 1 from noon-3pm.
The signature event of the Food Network Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival is The Grand Market, which takes place Saturday and Sunday from noon-3pm. This tasting village will be showcasing more than 200 stations featuring foods, wines, ales, liquors and more from world-renowned restaurants and brands, plus culinary demonstrations by celebrity chefs.

Triple D fans in South Jersey, get ready to have your world rocked. Guy Fieri, who will be in town July 29-Aug. 1 as a participant in the Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival, is bringing his Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives film crew with him.
Atlantic City will be the center of the culinary world when the Food Network Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival, hosted by Harrah’s Entertainment, begins with the official kick-off party at the Chelsea Hotel Thursday, July 29. “With the economy the way it is why are the prices so high. I would love to be able to attend something but cannot afford to. God forbid a couple should want to attend something especially one of the hour events. I would also like to attend Guy's Cheesteak Battle but at $100 pp simply can't. Please rethink your pricing so alot of other people could attend.”

“Yea, I agree! There should be some specials or discounts. Hopefully there will be some promotional giveways or comps.”

“I agree about the pricing. This is a publicity opportunity for the network and they should be treating this as one. SO MANY people will tune into the network after seeing the chefs at AC if it were a free event!”

“Um yeah...the idea isn't for publicity really - it's not about getting random people to go and maybe like Guy or one of the hosts and then end up watching the shows...this is for the millions of fans already obsessed. Yes I agree it's over priced, but it sells out so can you really say it's over priced? Also if you look at the site it does benefit cancer.”
