<p>Cape May, Gail Pierson Gallery, 658 Washington Street Cape May N.J. Gail Pierson is working with the Animal Alliance of Cape May County on a series of events to highlight and celebrate National Pit Bull Awareness Day on October 27. The efforts are all in support of educating the public about the situation with Pit Bulls, to highlight the positive traits of the breed. They are also trying to raise money for the Animal Alliance to support spay &amp; neutering activities in the County. One of the key events is a juried art exhibition, titled &quot;It's the Pits.&quot; They are looking for artists of any media and photographers to participate and will be paid for their work with the Gallery's proceeds going to the Animal Alliance of Cape May County. There is an opening reception on October 27 from 5-7 pm, with the free exhibit to run through November 17.</p></p>
