Ray Kot Poker Open
January 18 – 24 in Trump Taj Mahal Poker Room
The First Annual Ray Kot Poker Open Tournament will take place from Jan 18-24 in the Poker Room at Trump Taj Mahal. Qualifying satellite tournaments will be held daily each hour, (noon to midnight) during the week of January 18-23. Donations will benefit the Ray Kot Memorial Fund. This tournament is open to the public and all casino employees (including key licensed employees) are invited to play. Players have a chance to win super prizes in the event. The grand prize will be an all expense paid trip to the 2010 “Big Game” on Sunday, Feb. 7 in Miami. (or cash equivalent), which includes airfare, two nights deluxe hotel accommodations, food credit of $250 per day and two tickets to the “Big Game,” at Dolphin Stadium. The 2nd place finisher will win a 50-inch LCD TV. The third place prize is a “Big Game” party for 10 in a luxury suite in the Chairman Tower. Additional prizes will be awarded to anyone that makes the final table of the championship round. Winners of each satellite table will advance to the Championship Round to take place on Sunday, Jan. 24, at 8:15pm, which is Ray’s birthday. No reservations are necessary.
