The owners of Northfield’s Rose’s Garden Grill branch out with new sit-down restaurant in Central Square.
Relocating to the Jersey shore in 2004, they obtained a New Road strip mall spot that became Rose’s and have developed a sterling rep for quality midday eats.
“Best sandwich this side of the Mississippi, my friend” is Frank’s description of the enterprise, which features colorful specialty sandwich names honoring regulars.
Roman Grill, however, represents a milestone for the Trifilettis — a real sit-down, dinner restaurant.
Frank explains the process leading to this development: “We thought we were going to move Rose’s into a larger space, but it’s so busy that we couldn’t close it. I want to take baby steps to meet the expectations of Rose’s customers.”
Route 9, New Road, Central Square, Linwood
Since opening just over a year ago, Revel has certainly faced more than its fair share of hardship. One undeniable fact though, the shimmering building with the globe on top has brought a dazzling collection of gastronomic options to the area, including star chef concepts from the likes of Marc Forgione, Jose Garces, Luke Palladino, Alain Allegretti and Robert Wiedmaier.
