The Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options (JAFCO) held a “Great Gatsby Soiree” Saturday, Aug. 12, in the ballroom of The Claridge Hotel. Guests got in the spirit of the event donning zoot suits and flapper attire, while noshing on yummy apps followed by a surf-and-turf dinner. NBC10’s Ted Greenberg served as Master of Ceremonies while the Atlantic City Ballet held a brief 1920s-inspired performance. JAFCO’s mission is “to care for abused and neglected children and those with developmental disabilities in the Jewish community while working in partnership with families in the entire community.” For information call 610-525-1040 or go to JAFCO.org.
