Don your crazy costumes, lace up your running shoes and head to the boardwalk for two days of non-stop action during the annual Atlantic City’s April Fools Half Marathon Weekend, Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23.

Taking place in front of Resorts Casino Hotel, the weekend includes a costume contest, cash awards for top finishers, free beers, live entertainment, food, and more.

11K and 7K events will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday with check-in. Both races will start at 9 a.m., and awards will be given to the top finishers, as well as in various age divisions. Both races are $63. Then the Kids Fit Mile will begin at 11:30 a.m. The event is a 1-mile run for the younger members of the family, who are tired of sitting and watching Mom and Dad race. Registration is $15. Awards will follow at the Hard Rock Café.

The day begins early on Sunday, with check in starting at 7:30 a.m. The feature event, the AmeriHealth NJ April Fools Half Marathon, will take off at 8 a.m., followed with another awards ceremony. The Half Marathon is $110. A costume awards ceremony will round out the events at 11 a.m.

All the day’s events begin and end in front of Resorts Casino Hotel, 1133 Boardwalk, Atlantic City. For more info, go to ACRaceSeries.com.
