JOHN LOREAUX

The best that Oktoberfest has to offer can be found at Gregory’s Restaurant & Bar in Somers Point starting Friday, Sept. 29, with a ceremonial keg tapping.

At 7 p.m., the restaurant’s staff, along with Somers Point Mayor Jack Glasser, will tap into the celebration’s first keg of beer to share with friends and the community and open up the month-long Oktoberfest festivities at the eatery. The restaurant will be in full-Oktoberfest style with decorations and traditional German music playing to set the mood.

Sample the Warsteiner Oktoberfest German Bier and then check out the menu. The location will offer German lunch and dinner specials Fridays through Mondays till the end of October, with options such as house-made sauerbraten, wiener schnitzel, two different types of bratwurst, potato pancakes and yummy house-made strudel with ice cream, along with five different German beers to choose from.

Gregory’s Restaurant & Bar is located at 900 Shore Road, Somers Point. Call 609-927-6665.
