Eastwind at Resorts Casino Hotel is hosting an authentic five-course Japanese dinner for the public 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20.
The location will be showcasing a selection of sake during the meal, a Japanese rice wine. Whether you love the drink or have never sampled it before, the dinner will be a journey for the tastebuds, with six sakes to try.
Master of Sake Sean O’Rourke will present the courses, beginning with Raw Oyster Scallop Broth, with bok choy petals and stir fry vegetables and paired with Zipang Sparkling Sake. The second course is Beef & Brassica Kobe, paired with Ty-ku Junmai Silver, followed by the third course of Allium broth chicken, paired with Yoshinogawa Winter Warrior.
The dinner rounds out with the fourth course, consisting of Five Spice Pork Belly, served with truffle edamame puree and paired with Hakutsura Sayuri Junmai Nigori. End the meal with a delicious slice of Forbidden Cheesecake tofu, paired with Gekkeikan Horin.
