A "Survivor" Season 36 cast member will join guests at Bocca Coal Fired Bistro in a viewing party of the season premiere.
Angela Perkins of “Survivor: Ghost Island” will watch the first episode of the season with fans of the show 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Bocca Coal Fired Bistro. Though Perkins lives in Cincinnati, Perkins’ cousin by marriage, Kristi Perkins brings her to Margate for the premiere.
“She was my cousin through marriage for many years,” Kristi Perkins says. “Now we are both divorced and still consider ourselves as cousins and very good friends.”
“She lives in Ohio but wanted to watch the first episode of her season here in Margate with me and my family, so she is flying in for the event,” Kristi Perkins adds.
Angela Perkins is a 42-year-old mother of two and a retired Army captain. She participated as part of the 36th season of “Survivor,” a show that brings competitors to a remote island where they must compete in multiple challenges while they outwit, outlast and outplay their teammates.
The show starts at 8 p.m., but the party will begin at 7 p.m. Drink specials include $2.50 domestic drafts, $5 glasses of house wine and $6 food specials. Admission is free, but please make reservations by calling 609-823-3663. Bocca is located at 7805 Ventnor Ave., Margate City.
