Born and raised in Atlantic County, Michelle D’Arcangelo is a 1997 graduate of Egg Harbor Township High School. In 2001, she graduated cum laude from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and was inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing. She has built a career in emergency medicine. Michelle began volunteering with a local ambulance squad at age 14; has worked as an emergency department technician and nurse; and is currently employed by AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center as a flight nurse for MidAtlantic MedEvac. She is nationally certified in critical care nursing, pediatric nursing and as a paramedic. Michelle volunteers in the community speaking with local students about career opportunities in the field of nursing and sharing her various experiences as a nurse. As a consultant for Thirty-One Gifts, she hosts fundraisers for families facing serious medical issues. She lives in Atlantic County with her husband and three daughters.
