Archivist, Atlantic City Free Public Library
Heather is an archivist at the Atlantic City Free Public Library, where she oversees Atlantic City history collections and promotes Atlantic City’s unique history through exhibits, Web sites, and helping researchers and writers around the world. She is part of the library team working on “The Atlantic City Experience,” a proposed cultural heritage attraction and research center. For work as historical consultant, Heather is listed in the credits of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. She attended the College of William and Mary and the University of Maryland College Park. Previously, Heather worked at the National Archives and the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. She is a member of the Society of American Archivists, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference, and the Small Museum Association. Heather is active in the local Spanish-speaking congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she mentors teenage girls. Currently, she lives in Absecon.
