Emporium features a sophisticated collection of shop-in-shop concepts showcasing fashion-forward designers and brands.
ATLANTIC CITY — Revel recently announced plans take fashion to new heights with the Sunday, July 1 opening of Emporium as part of The Row — the mega-resort’s 55,000-square-foot convocation of retail space.
Emporium was created exclusively for Revel, and is a 10,000-square-foot “shop-in-shop” concept that showcases a a carefully curated mix of contemporary and luxury brands. It will feature 14 brand concepts and 10 jewelers in its opening phase, and each brand will have 400 to 800 square feet of dedicated space. Select brands making their United States debut will include Sandwich, a global women’s fashion brand based in the Netherlands; the Milan-based contemporary lifestyle label Lui Jo; and luxury Italian bikini and swimwear collections by Masquenada.
Emporium was developed by the IK Retail Group, a Washington, D.C.-based retail company with more than 30 years of retail experience.
“This new concept took more than three years to develop as it is our intention to offer consumers the very best in each category,” says Iraklis Karabassis, president and CEO of IK Retail Group. “Revel is the ultimate partner in such an endeavor.”
Additionally, Emporium features a mix of collections and accessories for men and women including designer apparel from some of the fashion industry’s best-selling brands such as Rebecca Minkoff, G-Star Raw and JC Rags. Footwear legend Vince Camuto will debut his first shop-in-shop concept at Emporium with his signature collection and full assortment of apparel, handbags, shoes, and accessories.

Revel, the glittering jewel at the north end of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, has had a rough beginning on the gaming side of the ledger since it opened in late spring. However, on the entertainment side, it has delivered positive vibrations and national headlines.
“When I look at Atlantic City, maybe I just see something different,” says DeSanctis. “What I see, when you go out on our Sky Garden or you go out on our deck, that’s sort of the Atlantic City that I think about. We have this incredible geographic location. We have 47 million people within a six-hour drive of this place, and when we think about options from a resort perspective in the Northeast, there really aren’t any. "
Back in January 2009, Revel Entertainment felt the recession crunch and was forced to lay off part of its construction crew, halting progress on the interior of its nearly $2 billion north-end Boardwalk casino project and limiting progress to the building’s exterior alone.
