It's All Happening at the Zoo

Rocky the tiger, flamingoes from Michael Jackson's "Neverland" ranch, butterflies, bongos and bald eagles -- and that's just for starters. As the Cape May County Zoo celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, it continues to add attractions. The 80-acre park now boasts more than 550 animals representing more than 200 species. New this year is a bald eagle exhibit to complement the zoo's existing aviary and birds of prey exhibits. Also this summer, guests can take the Hummingbird Express, a four-car miniature passenger train that will take riders through the park. Other attractions include the 57-acre Savannah walk, Reptile House and gift shop. The zoo, part of the larger county park in Cape May Court House, remains one of the only free family attractions at the southern New Jersey shore (though donations are appreciated). Summer hours are 10am to 4:45pm. Visit www.capemaycountyzoo.org for more information

Eric Clapton performed Sunday at Borgata's sold-out Event Center.

Q: Was the show worth the price of admission?

Josey Orr
Birdsboro, Pa.
A: I thought the price of the tickets was perfect because Clapton is one of the greatest musicians of all time and one of few who is still rockin'.
