The Richard Stockton College’s School of Arts and Humanities will host the inaugural concert of its newly named jazz orchestra-in-residence on Wednesday, Oct. 22. The Ed Vezinho/Jim Ward Big Band (pictured) — a 16-piece jazz ensemble formed over 30 years ago and comprised of some of Atlantic City’s finest musicians — will play Stockton’s Campus Center Theater starting 7:30pm.

Event producer Tony Mart Presents is teaming with Circle Liquor Store in Somers Point for the inaugural Rocktoberfest — a craft beer and wine festival scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4, from 5-11pm at Egg Harbor Township Elks Lodge #2563 (1815 Mays Landing-Somers Point Rd. in EHT).
